The AllerAir 5000 D Vocarb air purifier features a special blend of carbon to tackle heavy concentrations of airborne pollutants, odor and volatile organic compounds. With an extra deep-bed 24 lb. carbon filter, a medical grade HEPA filter for particles and an easy-clean pre-filter, this unit is ideal for serious air cleaning.

Vocarb Blend

Our Vocarb carbon is our boosted blend, offering a more aggresive removal of hard-to-trap airbome chemicals, gases and odors. This blend is best suited for newly renovated environments, unknown contaminants and/or formldehyde.

D Class

All models in the D class will provide protection in areas where heavy concentrations of chemicals or odors are present. The main difference between the two is the saturation point of the activated carbon filter. The DX offers the most carbon and the deepest filter bed allowing it to absorb more toxins than the D model.
